Employee Attributes

The Rainbow organization is a small charity that support clients that have a problem with sight and need help with ICT. As you can imagine there is a certain amount of attributes required as it is a learning environment; consideration and reassuring is also needed. 
 
In any job roles there are certain attributes that are required, some job-related and some general, over wise known as soft skills. These will be the attributes that attract the employee to the employer which is quite important. 

The Rainbow organization would require certain attributes to make sure that the certain person is suitable for the job role.

Personal attributes are valued by the employer at the Rainbow organization. These attributes need to be reflected in the work that is carried out in the charity.

Experience
Employers expect graduates with work experience to be able to demonstrate that they understand basic work issues such as punctuality, how to present themselves, and how to organise their lives to fit in with work. Employers might want you to understand something about their business or organisation and how it works before an interview. Also employers from the Rainbow Charity need to know what kind of practical workplace skills you have such as using the telephone and photocopier, computer packages, or specialised machinery. Finally employers from the Rainbow Charity want you to understand something about customer and client service.

The reason why employers from the Rainbow Charity value organisation skills is because without organisation skills it could likely lead to losing certain items and never being able to keep things tidy. The reason why organisation skills is needed is because if an employee losses items or forgets to bring them it can result in people not being trusted and also means that people not being able to perform the tasks needed in their field of work. Which then may also results in the company not being able to get paid or do the work needed that day.

Self-Motivated
Employers look for employees who require little supervision and direction to get the work done in a timely and professional manner. Supervisors who hire self-motivated employees do themselves a big favour. For self-motivated employees require very little direction from their supervisors. Once a self-motivated employee understands his/her responsibility on the job, they will do it without bothering others.

Independence
Independence is an attitude that all the employees should have because it indicates that the employee can work and complete their tasks alone without assistance. It also suggests that the employee don’t have to rely on others to help him. Employers will more likely employ an independent person because it’s more productive and does not disturb other employees while they are carrying their own tasks. Sometimes the person could be advised wrong or misunderstand the given advice. That could lead to a conflict and possible legal actions taken by an employer.
